I saw 100s of these in Rome's streets
Another newsletter about Italy, woohoo!
Rome is one of the most beautiful cities on the planet…
If you don’t look down.
They’re not as filthy as Chicago’s streets, but MAMMA MIA, it can get bad.
What caught my eye the most was this large patch of cobblestone in Rome where…
Every. Single. Crevice.
Was packed with cigarettes.
I then thought of all the (effective) advertisements I’d seen of futuristic vapes.
How could a country with such healthy food indulge in such an unhealthy practice so freely?
The answer then hit my silly little head:
People will always choose what feels good now.
I don’t feel like exercising because I’m too comfortable right now.
I wanna lose weight, but Oreos would be great right now.
I could read this book, but tweets are good for now.
This is how people sabotage themselves every day.
The good news for you is that it’s never been easier to get ahead.
All you have to do is think long-term.
That’s what separates those who get what they want from those who don’t.
Okay, bye!
